According to Fabrice Hawkins, Tottenham are keen on acquiring the services of Axel Tape, who has decided against signing his first professional contract with PSG. While other top clubs are interested in signing him, Spurs are prepared to battle it out for his signature.
Tape has been a part of the PSG youth setup since 2020. The 17-year-old has gone up the ranks at some pace and is currently a part of their Under23s. He has been a consistent performer for them at the youth level and has also impressed while playing for France’s youth team.
While the teenager prefers playing in the heart of the defence, he can even feature in the midfield if needed. Tape has surely made quite a name for himself and has already featured for their senior side once. But it seems he is all set to leave the club this summer.
