According to Fichajes, Manchester City are interested in PSG sensation Desire Doue ahead of the summer. The attacking star has been on the rise in his first season in Paris, as Pep Guardiola wants a player with his versatile capabilities in his attacking setup next season.
Manchester City are contemplating a big summer window which could see Pep Guardiola make considerable changes. One of the confirmed positions the manager will look at adding to is the attacking midfield with Kevin De Bruyne set to depart after an association of over a decade with the club.
The other big concern for Guardiola are the wing positions, with neither Jeremy Doku nor Savinho performing to their expected levels. The Catalan boss has seen enough as some of the major links over the past few weeks are linking Manchester City to wide attackers.
Nico Williams was linked recently, with Guardiola thought to be a big fan of the Athletic Club winger. There are other names like Rayan Cherki on their list, with the Lyon star capable of paying across the frontline as well as in an attacking midfield position.
Similar to Cherki is another name on their list from Ligue 1, as Manchester City are interested in Desire Doue. The 19-year-old has risen to prominence throughout the season with PSG, as he has found a stable place in Luis Enrique’s plans at the club. The interest from Manchester City is nothing surprising, as the Parisians will not want to let go of this talent at this stage of their project.
Doue has 13 goals and 11 assists across all competitions for PSG this season, with the Ligue 1 club only willing to consider even talking if interested parties are willing to fork out €100 million or more. It will be a massive profit on their investment in the winger, as Manchester City could consider making a stellar bid.
Manchester United are also interested in the talent, and should PSG signal their intent to do business, many more might come into the equation. In any case, Manchester City could be serious about signing the €100 million-rated PSG attacking sensation, although it’s difficult to see the Parisians letting go of a player considered extremely important for their project going ahead.
