Benoit Badiashile has been a victim of Chelsea’s infamous hoarding policy since arriving from AS Monaco in January 2023. The Frenchman was among the most promising young centre-backs in the world when he joined the West London club. However, while he has shown flashes of brilliance at Chelsea, regular game time has eluded him in the last 27 months.
The 24-year-old has also struggled with fitness issues, and he has managed less than 1,500 minutes of game time across 17 appearances in all competitions this season. So, it is hardly surprising that Badiashile faces an uncertain future at Chelsea heading into the summer transfer window.
