Arsenal plotting ambitious move for Rodrygo Goes, Eduardo Camavinga, and Arda Guler

Arsenal are rumoured to be interested in Real Madrid’s highly-rated trio of Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler and Rodrygo Goes.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are rumoured to want moves for Rodrygo Goes, Eduardo Camavinga and Arda Guler in the summer. Signing either of those Real Madrid stars would be seen as a huge coup, although at this stage this could be considered as a rumour of sorts rather than the Gunners holding any concrete interest.

Arsenal are in the market to strengthen many of their key positions in the summer. For starters, Mikel Arteta and new sporting director Andrea Berta are intent on bringing in a new striker, while they are also thinking about a new wide attacker on the left-hand side.

Ideally, a striker and a winger would suffice Arsenal’s attacking requirements, while they are also eager to land a new midfielder. The Gunners are confident of signing Martin Zubimendi, while they are angling a move for Nico Williams from Athletic Club.

Now, the report states the Gunners are rumoured to be keen on Real Madrid’s highly-rated trio Eduardo Camavinga, Rodrygo Goes and Arda Guler. The latter could be on the move given his lack of game time, but the other two are considered key parts of the project at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hence, the idea that Arsenal will somehow swoop in would seem irrational at this point, although no doubt if they were made available, the Gunners would hold an interest. Moreover, Real Madrid will demand an exorbitant price point for the highly-rated trio, even Guler, which could scupper the idea of landing a striker for Arsenal.

Arsenal have clear plans for the summer

For instance, any club in the world would like Camavinga in their midfield and Rodrygo in the wide areas, but Arsenal are clear on their plans and may not want either of those stars this time around. There are some high-profile clubs interested in Rodrygo as well as Camavinga, but the Gunners may manage their expectations and look elsewhere.

As for Guler, he seems like a player they might consider if the price point was right, as Arteta might view the Turkish international as a replacement for Fabio Vieira. In any case, from the point of view of the story, the idea of Arsenal in the race for the highly-rated trio seems highly unlikely, especially this summer.
