Go Ahead Eagles have completed the signing of Norwegian forward Oskar Sivertsen (20) from Kristiansund BK. The youngster arrives as the successor of countryman Oliver Edvardsen, who left for Ajax back on the 31st of January.
Sivertsen signed a contract until 2028 at the Adelaarshorst today, with technical manager Paul Bosvelt beaming:
“Oskar is a dynamic player who is most effective from the left. With his depth and quick transition, he has a weapon. He also has a strong right-footed shot. He can also play a good role in restarts.”

The striker arrives in the Netherlands after a formative spell in his home country with Kristiansund saw him score 11 league goals in 62 outings. He has some pretty big shoes to fill with the departure of Oliver Edvardsen.
Edvardsen left GAE for Ajax at the end of January, bringing a fine three years in Deventer to a close. The 25-year-old signed a three-and-a-half-year contract in Amsterdam after scoring 22 league goals in 75 Eredivisie outings. He is already on eight goals in 14 Eredivisie matches this season.
